Katy ISD Bond Committee to Vet Project Costs at Second Meeting
The development of a Katy ISD bond package is underway as over 140 community members gather to review and discuss the district’s fast growth, renovation projects at aging campuses, new school needs, technology and safety across the district. This week the committee is expected to review costs for each project they are considering for a 2023 bond package.
Media partners are invited to observe the CBAC meetings which will include table discussions and group questions to internal and external experts.
Three future CBAC meetings will take place at 5:30 p.m. on the following days:
- Wednesday, April 5
- Wednesday, April 12
- Tuesday, April 18
The committee will have the option of presenting a recommendation to the Board of Trustees later this spring in consideration of a November 2023 bond referendum.
