Aristoi’s 25 Year Celebration Dinner and Fundraiser Honoring Superintendent, Brenda Davidson

Aristoi Classical Academy sincerely thanks the sponsors, families, and friends for their generous support of Aristoi’s largest fundraiser of the year. Aristoi’s 25 Year Celebration Dinner and Fundraiser honoring Superintendent, Brenda Davidson, raised more than $156,000, with all proceeds directly benefiting the tuition-free, K-12, public charter school. More than 1,000 people donated or purchased raffle tickets for the annual fundraiser. A beautiful dinner, dancing, live and silent auctions, and all-things Aristoi were enjoyed by more than 400 attendees at the Norris Conference Center on April 8th. The event drew not only Aristoi families, but many companies and community supporters from throughout the Katy, Cypress, and Greater Houston areas. “We are so grateful for the vision of our Superintendent, Brenda Davidson. She has been instrumental in Aristoi’s mission and in making classical education available to families throughout Katy and Houston,” stated Development Director, Natalie DeJong. “Aristoi is a unique school, focused on educating the whole person, teaching the students what truth, goodness, and beauty are. In order to do that in a classical, tuition-free charter school, we have to raise funds to support our mission. Public charter schools receive 30% less funding per student than what ISD schools receive. That’s a significant amount of money to raise, but this is a perfect way in which to do it,” stated Development Director, Natalie DeJong. Event Co-Chair April Light said, “We are amazed and so very thankful for the outpouring of support and generosity of the communities and families. The Celebration Dinner was fabulous, the donors were incredible, and the attendees were on fire to support our school, its parents, teachers, and students.” “This is a magnificent testament to classical education and our public charter school. We know this is the right thing for our students and families seeking an educational alternative. We are proud of our school, the faculty, staff, our outstanding Superintendent, Brenda Davidson, and everything that classical education stands for,” emphasized Co-Chair, David Light. The Lights are parents of Aristoi students as well as event Co-Chairs and Signature Sponsors of the 25 Year Celebration Dinner. Platinum Sponsors were Andrew and Allisa Hovis; the Gold Sponsors were America’s ER and Urgent Care and Forney Construction.
